At 31Volts we think it’s important to work with interns. As there are no Service Design courses (yet) we see it as our duty to help young people discover the world that arises when you put on your design thinking glasses. In fact in 2009 we’re going to host more interns than ever before.
Then there is the issue of compiling a job description for the intern. And as there is no Service Design school it’s not that easy. But Alexa from Adaptive Path has done a pretty good job!
We’re unusually vocal.
We’re compelled to share everything we’re doing and thinking through writing, speaking and occasionally coining words. We share this megaphone with our interns, helping them develop and flesh out ideas and giving them a voice in the user experience community.
